Metal Detectable Cable Ties Multiple Sizes & Colors These cable ties were designed for the food and beverage processing industries to meet safety standards set by HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) to minimize the risk of contamination. These detectable cable ties are nylon-based with metal content dispersed throughout the entire tie including the head. A unique manufacturing process involving the inclusion of a metallic pigment enables even small “cut-off” sections of the tie to be detected by standard metal detection and X-ray equipment. The unique blue color assists in the visual detection and greatly reduces the risk of contamination and costly recalls. The Metal Detectable ties comes in 6", 8", 10", and 15" lengths. These flexible cable ties have a curved tip for easy application. The 15" length is available in blue, green, orange, red and yellow. The 10" cable tie is releasable for reuse.
