Metal Detectable Ink Pens
Pens Available In Both Stick, Retractable & Pressurized “CRYO” Cartridge
These metal detectable ink pens are made from Super X; Detectamet’s unique polymer, which is x-ray visible and has the added bonus of an anti-microbial agent, as well as being extremely metal detectable. These metal detectable ink pens are perfect for almost all food applications. These ink pens perform well in both warm and lower temperatures, and will not damage if dropped or rolled off work surfaces. The Retractable ink pens come with minimum parts, which means no springs and incorporates a high-grade metal refill cartridge, which is made possible by a safe locking device at the top of the pen. The Pressurized “CRYO” Retractable Pens have the added benefit of working in freezer, cold storage and can write upside down.

We now offer a new range of metal stick pens, which are suitable for use in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Packaging and Beverage industries. These metal pens are made using 2 different types of metal to offer magnetic, metal detectable and X-ray detectable qualities. These pens are completely sealed and are made with minimum parts, which means no springs or buttons and incorporate the high quality metal “Tufftip” refills (as used in the retractable pen), and unlike many other metal pens which use plastic components and refills inside the pen.

Detectable Tags/Labels
These Tags allow small traces of label fragments to be detected, at any stage in the production process. As well as detecting any actual contamination before delivery to customers, both food and pharmaceutical manufacturers will also be able to use these tags and labels as an opportunity to print product, production and batch information, enabling complete tractability. Large Tag is our standard product, with good heat, strength-resistance, and all round durability – this tag will suit 80% of applications. This Tag has a thermal transfer printable mid-gloss face paper on one side and an uncoated writing paper on the other side, sandwiching a special metal-detectable aluminum foil and a synthetic strengthening layer. Small: 1” x 7.5” and Large: 1.89” x 11”
